As a reminder,
here is the project’s purpose statement:
The purpose of “Theaters in Schools” is to
provide workshops, instruction in theater production and direction, and
full production of theater performances for students of Jefferson and
Trumont high schools so that students:
- Demonstrate knowledge of acting, theater direction,
and production, AND
- Demonstrate interest in theater.

Element One - Inputs
Inputs: Theater set construction, costumes,
and materials; grant of $7,200; theater production and direction; curricula;
theater staff and high school teachers; theater mentors.

Element Two - Activities and Services
Activities:Coordinate production; schedule
classes and workshops for students; manage collaboration of school and
theater.
Services: Classes, workshops, and mentoring.

Element Three - Outputs
Outputs: 90 students involved; 90 books
on theater production distributed; 60 students matched to mentors; 30
students complete acting workshop; 30 students complete the theater direction
class; 30 students complete the production class; 1 theater production
completed. |

Element Four - Outcomes
Outcomes: The benefits derived from this
project include these outcomes: 1) students demonstrate knowledge of acting,
theater direction, and production; AND 2) students demonstrate interest
in theater.
