  • an Arts Education Component, which supports those elements of a state's plan that address arts education.
  • an Arts in Underserved Communities Component, which supports those elements of a state's plan that foster the arts in rural, inner-city, and other underserved communities.
  • a Challenge America Component, which provides funds to address shared agency and state priorities in the areas of arts education, access to the arts, positive alternatives for youth, cultural heritage and preservation and community arts development.
