To support the creation and presentation of a new work by Dan
Coleman. A portion of the work will be composed prior to the August
2003 festival and the remaining portions will be composed with
input from audiences at the festival.

professional development services. Four workshops will be offered
to local arts organizations in marketing, grantwriting, fundraising
and audience diversification.

To support the Aspen Shortsfest film festival. Short, live
action, animation and documentary films from the United States and
abroad will be showcased.

To support the American Academy of Conducting, a professional
development program for post conservatory musicians. Under the
direction of music director David Zinman and conductor Murry
Sidlin, the summer 2003 project will engage 24 participants in an
extensive conducting institute.
Bravo! Colorado at Vail-Beaver Creek

To support the 16th annual Vail Valley Music Festival. The
summer 2003 festival will feature chamber and orchestral concerts,
open rehearsals, public workshops, educational outreach concerts
and young artist programs.

To support a new production of Goyescas by Enrique
Granados to be sung in Spanish. This work has rarely been performed
in the United States since its American premiere at the
Metropolitan Opera in 1916.
Cleo Parker Robinson Dance (New Dance Theatre,
Inc.)

To support the creation and presentation of several works and
artist residencies. The company will host artists Abdel Salaam,
Bill T. Jones and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar to choreograph and conduct
workshops and master classes.

To support the commissioning of a new work. Doug Varone will
create the work, which will be presented at the Joyce Theater in

event will present over 150 films from the United States and abroad
to an audience of over 30,000 people.
El Centro Su Teatro

To support the Touring Teatro Encuentro project. Su Teatro,
Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center and Xicanindio Artes will conduct
workshop productions of El Sol Que Tu Eres/The Sun That You
Are, by Anthony Garcia, in four cities.
