To support a series of performances titled Next Generation. At the annual festival, performances will be supplemented by educational activities and humanities-based events designed to deepen the audience's connection to artists and the works being presented.

To support the touring exhibition Andrew Wyeth: Memory and Magic, with accompanying catalogue and education programs, organized in collaboration with the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Wyeth, an American icon, will turn 87 this year and continues to make art.

To support the world premiere production of Day of the Kings, the winning play in the national Graduate Playwriting Competition. This work by Daphne Greaves portrays an annual festival in colonial Cuba during which slaves were "free" for one day. Staged readings of work by competition finalists, free master classes and audience enrichment activities are also planned.

To support A King Celebration, a consortium project with Morehouse College in tribute to the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The project will include performances, educational outreach activities, and a national radio broadcast.

To support the world premiere production of Skinwalkers by Murray Mednick., a play that explores the influence of Native American mythology on the contemporary American West. The production will offer special matinee performances for high school students.

To support the creation, development, and production of a theater work through the Women in War project. The project will be lead by Co-Artistic Directors Rachel May, Hope Mirlis, and Michele Pearce; and solo-artist/choreographer Celeste Miller will assist in the development of the piece.
