To support the 34th annual International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE) Conference and Music Festival in New York City. The conference includes performances with more than 50 jazz artists, workshops, master classes, panel sessions, and a music technology center. More than 7,000 jazz educators, musicians, students, and industry personnel from around the world are expected to attend.

To support performances of Paul Taylor Dance Company, Shen Wei Dance Arts, MOMIX, and Hubbard Street 2 at the Carlsen Center. Education and outreach activities will include lecture-demonstrations, master classes for advanced students, works for K-12 students and teachers, pre-performance lectures, and training for teachers on how to facilitate arts-integrated activities in the classroom.
