To support the premiere of a work for orchestra, banjo, guitar, and bass guitar. The performance of Jens Krüger's Music From the Spring: A Serenade for Orchestra and Traditional American Instruments, will feature the Krüger Brothers, a bluegrass band based in North Carolina.

To support extended artist residencies as part of Bates Dance Festival's 25th anniversary. To support the traveling exhibition North by Northeast: Iroquois and Wabanaki Traditional Arts with an accompanying catalogue. The exhibition will explore the history, meaning, and ongoing cultural significance of traditional Native American arts, such as basketmaking and beadwork, throughout the Northeast.
