To support the publication and promotion of poetry titles from annual competitions. The selected poets will read from their works at venues around the country.

Bangor Symphony Orchestra

To support the premiere of a work for orchestra, banjo, guitar, and bass guitar. The performance of Jens Krüger's Music From the Spring: A Serenade for Orchestra and Traditional American Instruments, will feature the Krüger Brothers, a bluegrass band based in North Carolina.

To support extended artist residencies as part of Bates Dance Festival's 25th anniversary. Dancing Our Community will include Bridgman/Packer, BoanDanz, David Dorfman Dance, Rennie Harris Puremovement, Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, Bebe Miller Company, PearsonWidrig Dance Theater, and Doug Varone and Dancers.

To support leadership training and assistance in arts management for leaders of Maine local arts agencies. A partnership with the Maine Arts Commission, the project will increase the capacity of local arts agencies to sustain access to arts excellence in their communities and to foster improved coordination across the state.

To support the traveling exhibition North by Northeast: Iroquois and Wabanaki Traditional Arts with an accompanying catalogue. The exhibition will explore the history, meaning, and ongoing cultural significance of traditional Native American arts, such as basketmaking and beadwork, throughout the Northeast.

To support the Franco Music Tour. In partnership with the Franco-American Heritage Center, the event will include an exchange of musicians between Acadian, Québécois, and Cajun communities in New England and Louisiana.
