Delta Axis Inc.
CATEGORY: Access to Artistic Excellence FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Visual Arts
To support the presentation of a series of solo exhibitions in the Power House, a circa-1914 renovated historic building. The exhibitions, shown in the 4,000 square-foot brick and glass structure, will feature the work of Alec Soth, Catherine Sullivan, Virginia Overton, and Trisha Donnelly.
Jubilee Community Arts, Inc.
CATEGORY: Access to Artistic Excellence FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Folk and Traditional Arts
To support live presentations, broadcasts, and documentation of Southern Appalachian musical traditions. The Jubilee Festival will include a series of weekly concerts, and performances benefiting 45,000 local audiences.

To support the commissioning of ballets by choreographer Gina Patterson and Robert Philander-Valentine. The choreographers will collaborate with local musicians in a program titled Nashville Music Showcase.
Nashville Film Festival

To support the 38th Nashville Film Festival. The event features student films and videos, documentaries, narrative films, and experimental work.
Tennessee State Museum Foundation
CATEGORY: Access to Artistic Excellence FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Design
To support a design competition for a structure to house Red Grooms' Tennessee Fox Trot Carousel, a 36 figure carousel that depicts Nashville's history. This new pavilion will house the public art piece on the grounds of the new Tennessee State Museum.
