DELAWARE Delaware Art Museum Wilmington, DE $10,000 CATEGORY: Access to Artistic Excellence FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Museum To support the reinstallation of the Bancroft collection of Pre-Raphaelite art. The collection is the largest and most comprehensive collection of 19th-century British art in the United States. Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, Inc. Wilmington, DE $15,000 CATEGORY: Access to Artistic Excellence FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Visual Arts To support a series of community-based artist residencies and a documentary catalogue. The artists will collaborate with community groups to create work based on ideas and issues relevant to the participants' lives. Delaware Division of the Arts Wilmington, DE $591,600 CATEGORY: Partnership FIELD/DISCIPLINE: State & Regional To support Partnership Agreement activities. Delaware Symphony Association (aka Delaware Symphony Orchestra) Wilmington, DE $10,000 CATEGORY: Access to Artistic Excellence FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Music To support the In-School Ensemble program. Designed for third- through sixth-graders, the program will include ensemble visits to eight schools in two four-week sessions culminating in full orchestral Explorer Concerts.
