To support the performance components of A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra.  The project is the music education component of the 30th anniversary of the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. Members of the Charleston Symphony (CSO) and Na Fidleiri, a local Irish music ensemble, will perform for children of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

To support the production of new programs for the weekly radio series Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz. National Public Radio will distribute the programs, hosted by NEA Jazz Master Marian McPartland, to American audiences on 259 stations in the United States and to international audiences via NPR's Worldwide Service.
