To support the 75th anniversary season, Past/Forward. Dance works by recipients of the Scripps/ADF Awards will be presented by contemporary companies to demonstrate the respective choreographers' influences on modern dance and ballet.

To support the Master Teacher Program. Internationally recognized musicians will offer coaching sessions and master classes and will perform concerts for students (high school through post-graduate level) in a seven-week summer program.

To support residencies for visual artists. Participating artists will be provided housing, workspace, technical assistance, transportation costs, a materials budget, and a monthly stipend for a three-month residency.

North Carolina Dance Theatre

To support the presentation of works by choreographers George Balanchine, Mark Diamond, Dwight Rhoden, and artistic director Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux. The performances will take place at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, and the company will provide a comprehensive program of education and outreach offerings.

To support the development and world premiere of Bloody Blackbeard by Preston Lane, with original music by Laurelyn Dossett. The play will serve as the centerpiece for Theatre 232, a festival created in partnership with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
