FIELD/DISCIPLINE: AccessAbility To support, through a Chairman's extraordinary action award, the 2007 National Accessibility Leadership Award for the expansion of an accessibility initiative, "Careers in the Arts for People with Disabilities." The Minnesota State Arts Board was selected to be the winner of the 2007 National Accessibility Leadership Award for its innovative work in the field of accessibility. The award will support technical assistance to the state's arts organization and regional arts councils; shared equipment for audio description, captioning, and assisted listening; and professional development workshops for artists with disabilities.
