To support the commissioning and development of Heart of Darkness by composer Tarik O'Regan and librettist Tom Phillips. Based on the 1902 novella by Joseph Conrad, the work will be transformed into a one-act opera for 8 singers and 13 instrumentalists.

To support the commissioning and premiere of In the Beginning, by composer Enrique Gonzalez-Medina and librettist Campbell Geeslin, and related outreach activities. After the opera's premiere on the Navajo Nation, an eight-week tour will introduce the production to high schools and community theaters throughout Arizona.
