To support a free, statewide residency tour of a new play to underserved Arkansas communities, with accompanying outreach activities. Producing Artistic Director Robert Hupp will oversee the production of One Ninth by Arkansas playwright Spirit Trickey.

Fort Smith Symphony Association, Inc.

To support EARQUAKE!, a series of concerts targeting elementary school students. The concerts will incorporate a full orchestra, performances by the Western Arkansas Ballet, video projection, and audience participation. Cellist Stephanie Lemoine will be the featured musician.

Ozark Foothills Filmfest, Inc.

To support Filmfest activities including regional premieres of independent feature films, short film showcases, and panel discussions. The festival will also include programming targeted to the region's rapidly growing Hispanic population.

To support the printing and distribution of Visioning Rail Transit in Northwest Arkansas:Lifestyle and Ecologies. The printed publication will help mobilize support for rail transit among stakeholders in the region and will help centralize the role of good design and smart growth planning in an area that doesn't have a strong planning tradition.
