FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Literature To support the publication and promotion of the literary journal Bamboo Ridge and a book of fiction. The journal will focus on the unique literature and culture of Hawaii, and the proposed story collection by Filipino-American writer Michelle Cruz Skinner will explore the Filipino diaspora from the Philippines to Hawaii to Italy. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Challenge America To support a concert tour by the Tilden Trio. The Trio, comprised of violinist Sarn Oliver, cellist Peter Wyrick, and pianist June Choi Oh, will perform on Maui, Oahu, and the Big Island of Hawaii. Hawaii Opera Theatre Honolulu, HI $15,000
