To support the ninth annual Nuestra Musica festival of nuevomexicano music. The project will present a series of performances by some of New Mexico's most accomplished traditional musicians, with additional performances especially designed for area schoolchildren.

To support the creation of murals for installation in the mining district of Grant County. Selected artists - including Carlene Roters, Cecelia Standford, and Zoe Wolfe - will work with elementary, middle, and high school students to create the murals. Students will interview local residents to incorporate local history and aesthetics in the mural design.

To support the commissioning and premiere of The Letter, by composer Paul Moravec and libretto by Terry Teachout. Education and outreach programs will include free public lectures about the opera and a symposium involving the composer, librettist, and director.
