FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Chamber Music To support No Boundaries, a tour of American music performances by the Ying Quartet and folk musician Mike Seeger organized by the Myrna Loy Center for the Performing and Media Arts. Activities will include nine days of residency events (including programs for K-12 students) in rural mountain communities in Montana, such as Billings, Dillon, Helena, Lincoln, and Whitefish. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Learning in the Arts To support Words Fly!, a writing residency program. The project will place writers in rural, low-income, and/or tribal reservation schools for seven-month weekly writing sessions with students ages 7 to 18. Montana Arts Council Helena, MT $802,900

FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Theater To support a regional tour that will bring fully-mounted professional productions of Shakespeare plays to communities throughout Montana, Wyoming, and eastern Idaho.
