To support a project to document sacred music traditions. Vernacular music from the region's ethnic religious traditions will be recorded and made available to the public.

To support the production and national broadcast of the public radio series Beale Street Caravan. Weekly, one-hour programs featuring performances by blues artists will be broadcast on more than 300 public, community, and college radio stations nationwide.
