FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Folk and Traditional Arts To support the state's folk and traditional arts program, and a professional folk arts position. Programs include a fall mini-festival featuring folk performances; a redesign of the Nebraska Folklife Network website; and artist residencies and demonstrations. University of Nebraska at Lincoln (on behalf of Lied Center for the Performing Arts) (Consortium) Lincoln, NE $15,000

FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Music To support a statewide touring project by the Lied Center for the Performing Arts featuring the Turtle Island Quartet and singer and songwriter Susan Werner. A partnership with the Friends of the Midwest Theater, the project will include six day-long teacher and student workshops with teaching artists in schools, which will be followed by performances by the artists for students and the general public.
