Project components will include an exhibition of Luis Casiano's Vejigantes (clown-like characters) masks and costumes that are used in annual Puerto Rican festivals, and a performance by Bomba and Plena musicians Angel Luis Torruellas and AfriCaribe.

To support the creation and tour of the Travelling Flatbed Trailer Show. Squonk Opera will parade through various cities, including Pittsburgh (PA), Cleveland (OH), San Francisco (CA), St. Joseph (MN), and Baltimore (MD) on a flatbed trailer and will stage a multidisciplinary performance that will include video footage of local community residents.

State University of New York at Buffalo (on behalf of UB Center for the Arts)

To support the Arts in Health Residency Program. Doug Varone and Dancers and cellist Stephen Katz will perform and conduct hands-on activities with patients, staff, and families at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

Taiko drummer Kenny Endo, tablas player Abhijit Banerjee, and Latin percussionist John Santos will create a series of compositions to present in concert at various venues in such states as California, Washington, Montana, Alaska, New York, Texas, and Massachusetts.

To support The Z's ArtsBridge Program. Two distinct components within the ArtsBridge Program will be supported: a series of performances and interactive events focusing on past and current US military endeavors featuring groups such as LA Theatreworks, American Vicarious Theatre, and the New Bedford Symphony; a residency, in-school workshops, and performance by Dayton Contemporary Dance Company along with a local interracial, multigenerational choir.
