FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Music To support outreach concerts and workshops performed by the finalists of the quadrennial Classical Fellowship Awards. Each of the five finalists will take part in a three-day residency in local high schools as part of the Concerto Curriculum program, which will culminate in a public performance by the pianist and members of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra in an effort to reinforce the schools' orchestra programs. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Music To support live streaming and master class video postings online of the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. Plans include live streaming of performances as well as posting video recordings of master classes by jurors during the three-day event at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, where 48 ensembles (approximately 200 musicians) will compete for the top prize. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Theater To support the professional production of playwright-in-residence James Still's A Long Bridge Over Deep Waters, a meditation on religion that explores how faith both unifies and divides a nation. In an effort to elicit discussions about tolerance and diversity, audience engagement activities will invite the participation of religious and cultural organizations in Indianapolis to serve as post-show discussion leaders and action committee representatives
Indianapolis Museum of Art Indianapolis, IN $100,000

FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Museum To support conservation and documentation of the museum's Western European contemporary design collection. The project will enable the museum to display approximately 350 objects from a variety of media, including furniture, glass, ceramics, metalwork, and product design in a reconfigured 9,000 square foot gallery space.
