To support the Draw Me A Story Exhibition, featuring the work of children's book illustrator Duncan Tonatiuh. A collaboration with Leggett Elementary School in Akron, project activities will include workshops for children with arts educators from the University of Akron and the Akron Public Library, a museum exhibition of the children's picture books produced in the workshops, and a commissioned mural-sized illustration by Tonatiuh.

To support the commission of a new work for string quartet from composer Allen McCullough, to be premiered by the Daedalus Quartet as part of the CMYS subscription series, with related outreach. The Daedalus Quartet and McCullough will conduct an artist residency in Yellow Springs, providing master classes and outreach concerts to schools, universities, and civic organizations in the Dayton-Springfield area.

A jury of local, national, and international artists and curators will select six artists for two-month residencies that will include studio space, housing, an honorarium, a materials budget, the opportunity for new work to be exhibited in the gallery, and a brochure with a critical essay and color reproductions to be produced for each artist.
