FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Challenge America To support the Draw Me A Story Exhibition, featuring the work of children's book illustrator Duncan Tonatiuh. A collaboration with Leggett Elementary School in Akron, project activities will include workshops for children with arts educators from the University of Akron and the Akron Public Library, a museum exhibition of the children's picture books produced in the workshops, and a commissioned mural-sized illustration by Tonatiuh. The Daedalus Quartet and McCullough will conduct an artist residency in Yellow Springs, providing master classes and outreach concerts to schools, universities, and civic organizations in the Dayton-Springfield area.
