1998 Grant Awards: State & Regional Partnership Agreements

Some details of the projects listed below are subject to change, contingent upon prior Endowment approval.


The Arts Endowment's 1998 Partnership Agreements support the State Arts Agencies for:

  • a Basic State Component which provides funds that agencies can use to address priorities identified in each state's basic state plan.
  • an Arts Education Component which supports those elements of a state's plan that address arts education.
  • an Arts In Underserved Communities Component which supports those elements of a state's plan that foster the arts in rural, inner-city, and other underserved communities.

and support the Regional Arts Organizations for:

  • a Basic Regional Plan Component which provides basic support for a regional plan.
  • a Presenting & Touring Component which supports multi-state presenting and touring programs.
