Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust
Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the second largest city in the state, with a metropolitan area population of nearly one million people. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust in partnership with local artists and not-for-profits—including the Tulsa Community Foundation, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, Living Arts, and other local groups—is creating the artist programming for the first Lawn d'Arts Performance Series. The two-year free performing arts series will take place in a new state-of-the-art performance park opening in the Brady Arts District. Tulsa's Brady Arts District is committed to being the city's arts focal point and a home to artists. Through outdoor arts programming, new residents and visitors will be attracted and exposed to the district—it is anticipated that 150,000 Tulsa residents will attend the series. With diverse, innovative programming, the series plans to attract communities near the park who might not ordinarily attend an arts event.
