FILM SERIES:
Cine L.A.: Visions of Los Angeles
Presented by Film Independent
Film Independent is non-profit organization which champions the cause of independent film and works to diversify the film industry. It helps diverse and innovative filmmakers make their movies and build an audience for their projects.
In a series that spans from 1950 to the present, each film is crafted by a filmmaker who has brought his or her unique vision and perspective to their depiction of this city of dreams and nightmares. These films will provide audiences with images that will significantly expand the way they think about Los Angeles and introduce them to a new generation of independent filmmakers.
