My love for the arts initiated in childhood, as I learned to read and write and appreciate the beauty and power of words; whether written, spoken, dramatized, or sung. In 2004, I wrote a children's book titled Zeno the Zebra as a unique experience of teaching elementary children to read and write, who were deficient, low, or non-readers.
I am now retired from teaching public school and college students, yet teaching in a private nonprofit: Four Seasons Arts & Music Academy, Inc. The arts have impacted the lives of many of my students for good and continues to do so. My husband has 44 music (piano and voice) students, as we both teach drama, mime, theater techniques and literary skills for both children and adults.
