The National Endowment for the Arts has been one of the largest sponsors for the Art Mobile of Montana. The outreach program is designed to bring contemporary Montana artworks to small rural schools and communities across the state. Many schools in Montana do not have an art teacher, so the Art Mobile of Montana also offers hands-on art activities. Each year we serve over 60 sites and share art with students grades K-12, as well as our senior citizens, university students, prison inmates, and community members. Montana is a huge state, but this program allows for people of all ages to be connected through the visual arts.
