For me, the difference between a good day and a bad day depends on the quality of what I have created and a day in which I have created nothing is a day lost. The arts are absolutely essential to my well-being emotionally, spiritually, psychologically, stylistically, and financially. Being an artist has enabled me to become more social, more independent, more grounded, more communicative, more ambitious, more progressive, and, most importantly, more ME. I think I speak for everyone in the artistic community when I say without the arts, I would be an absolutely useless human being. However, because of the arts and the effects the subject and I have on each other, I find myself in the unique position of a wholly thriving person.
