Ann Eilers is the acting chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts. She joined the Arts Endowment in 2017 as the deputy chairman for management and budget. In that role, she provides executive leadership to a diversely skilled team of professionals that provides budget, finance, human resources, administration, information technology, and grants management services to the agency.
Previously, Eilers held various finance, administration, audit, and board advisory positions in both the public and private sectors. She received her master of science in information and telecommunication systems from Johns Hopkins University, holds a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Maryland, and is a certified public accountant.
