NEA Chairman Jane Chu to Visit Richmond, Virginia, July 17, 2015
Washington, DC—NEA Chairman Jane Chu will visit Richmond, Virginia, on Friday, July 17. Chairman Chu will tour the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, an NEA grantee. Media are invited to join her for this tour. Follow @NEAJaneChu on Twitter for updates and photos on her trip to Richmond.
The tour of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) will include a tour of the McGlothlin Wing, the modern galleries, and East Asian galleries. The NEA most recently supported the exhibition Forbidden City: Imperial Treasures from the Palace Museum, Beijing at the VMFA. Following this tour, Chairman Chu will be available for short one-on-one interviews.
