Tomorrow we're announcing the second round of NEA grants for fiscal year 2010. You might be surprised to learn about some of the now iconic arts organizations, artists, and projects that received early support from the Arts Endowment, such as the American Ballet Theater, the American Film Institute, Live from Lincoln Center, the national Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Alice Walker, and Chuck Close, just to name (more than) a few. Browse our 40th anniversary archive to learn more.

And don't forget to check back at the News Room for tomorrow's announcement.
