Coming in at #3 on our top 5 blog posts of 2015 is our list of advice for artists from artists. What advice would you add? Pursuing a career in the arts isn’t always an easy road. So when someone offers up a piece of free advice, we’re all ears. Below are words of wisdom for emerging artists, given by fellow artists we’ve interviewed in the past. As you read up, feel free to leave your own words of wisdom in the comments. "If you don't love it, get out." - F. Murray Abraham, actor "If you're willing to learn from the giants who came before you, be respectful, and actively engage the amazing musicians you come in contact with, acceptance becomes a moot point." – Esperanza Spalding, musician "Do the thing itself. Don’t pay much mind to critics or what anyone says about it. Just do it, in any form possible, and watch others doing it.
