Jami Van Brocklin and her family visited a Blue Star Museum in Alabama! Here's a quick re-cap of their adventure.

My husband, our ten-year-old daughter, our three-year-old son, and I visited a Blue Star Museums in Huntsville, Alabama, on June 8---Sci-Quest Hands-On Science Museum. First of all, we are a family of science geeks and we had a blast diving into the hands-on exhibits. They have a big life-like playhouse with a kitchen, washer and dryer, transfer line, and more for kids to play with. Not to mention the exhibits on circuitry, electronics, robotics, magnetics, infrared and x-ray, car motors, and pulley systems.

It is near the Huntsville Space Museum too, which we did not get to visit on this trip. Too bad that one isn't on the Blue Star Museum list!

It was great fun for our family!

My husband served with the Big Red One at Ft. Riley, KS from 2005-2009. He is now activated National Guard in Alabama and is preparing to deploy to Afghanistan. He served in Iraq in 2006-07. We have two kids. I'm a nurse and freelance photographer, but I'm currently in school full-time working towards my RN. (I'm an LPN.)
