Honolulu Theatre for Youth

Tue, 2016-08-30 15:27 -- Don Ball

The resident ensemble collaborated with community partners to develop a work that examines the topic of water, H2O: The Story of Water and Hawaii. Partners included cultural practitioners, scientists, historical experts, environmental organizations, state government agencies, and an art museum. Set on a stage designed as a giant H2O molecule, the sweeping musical floods the senses as our cast of “Water Warriors” (alternately scientists, activists and rock stars) explores the cultural, historical, environmental, and physical properties of water through song, humor, and interactive storytelling for elementary schools and family audiences.
