Baltimore Creatives Acceleration Network (B/CAN) is a series of creative entrepreneurship programs, in partnership with the Emerging Technology Centers (ETC), that will include professional development programs, entrepreneurial training, and startup resources to support creative industries in Baltimore. The INCU-NET program will match and place select creatives in partner incubators for intensive entrepreneurship support to help them build successful creative businesses. The ART-VANCE program will focus on business, financial, and legal planning; expert assistance; building marketing skills; and peer mentoring, both online and in-person. The CITI-NET program will focus on networking events to connect creatives with agents, resources, and each other, across different backgrounds. The B/CAN MOBILE program will provide pop-up access to services and mentors for a broad base of residents in neighborhoods across Baltimore.
