Two teens cut a ribbon on a newly installed arrow sculpture while two adult men stand smiling at the camera

Joined by 48th Ward Alderman Harry Osterman (far left) and Justin Weidl from Uptown United (far right), Territory teen leaders Jaime Flores (second from left) and Clancy Hudson cut the ribbon for Uplifting Uptown, a landmark attraction and wayfinding device locally known as "the arrow." After a yearlong design development process, the Territory team installed the arrow at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Argyle Street in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood in August 2018. The project was funded in part by After School Matters, Uptown United, and supported by Alderman Osterman. Photo courtesy of Territory NFP
