Applications must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov, the federal government’s online application system. The Grants.gov system must receive your validated application no later than 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time, on October 12, 2023. See "How to Apply" for further information.

In the event of an emergency (e.g., a hurricane, a SAM.gov or Grants.gov technological failure), the NEA Chair may adjust application deadlines for affected applicants. If a deadline is extended for any reason, an announcement will be posted on our website.

Awards will support activities that are scheduled to begin on July 1, 2024, or any time thereafter.
