Blue Star Museums

Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. 

The program runs from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day. The 2025 Blue Star Museums program has concluded. The program will begin again on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Check the map below for 2025 participating Blue Star Museums, which included children’s museums, art museums, history and science museums, zoos, nature centers, and more.
