NEA Chairman Jane Chu and Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici to Speak at Oregon Art Education Association Conference on October 14, 2017

Washington, DC–Jane Chu, chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici will speak and take questions at the annual Oregon Art Education Association Conference on Saturday, October 14, 2017. The NEA Chairman and the Congresswoman will give remarks about the importance of arts education and answer questions from the conference attendees during the opening session. Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici is the Vice Ranking Member on the House Education and the Workforce Committee and a co-chair of the Congressional STEAM Caucus, which advocates for the inclusion of the arts and design into STEM education.
