NEA Chairman Jane Chu to Visit Manchester and Concord, New Hampshire, May 5, 2015

Washington, DC—NEA Chairman Jane Chu will visit Manchester and Concord, New Hampshire, on Tuesday, May 5. In addition to visiting arts organizations in both cities, Chairman Chu will give remarks and participate in a Q&A with the arts community in Manchester and attend a performance featuring National Council on the Arts member Paul Hodes at the Community Music School in Concord. Follow @NEAJaneChu on Twitter for updates and photos on her trip to New Hampshire. Chairman Chu will begin her visit to New Hampshire in Manchester. The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and the Currier Museum of Art will host an event with Chairman Chu where she will give remarks about her priorities and vision for the National Endowment for the Arts and take questions from the arts community. Members of the public may register to attend here. Following this event, Chairman Chu will be available for short interviews. Later that afternoon, Chairman Chu will join Congresswoman Ann McLane Kuster for a visit to the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord. Following a tour, Chairman Chu will have availability for short media interviews. That evening, Chairman Chu will visit the Concord Community Music School where she will tour the school and attend a performance by Peggo and Paul Hodes with Kent Allyn and special guests, the Larksong Trio.
