Commissioned from the Urban Institute, this report describes the methodology and findings of a study to validate the NEA's proposed Arts & Livability Indicators.

In partnership with the NEA, the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) published a literature review on arts-based programs and art therapies for at-risk, justice-involved, and traumatized youths.

This report synthesizes findings across several modes of arts participation to show how many American adults--and from which backgrounds--have engaged in art throughout the decade of 2002 to 2012.
