Celebrate the 2019 NEA National Heritage Fellows!

We're excited to celebrate the 2019 NEA National Heritage Fellows tonight with a concert event featuring music, demonstrations, and conversations with the National Heritage Fellows and other special guests. The evening will be hosted by Queen Nur, storyteller, teaching artist, and director of the Folklife Center at the Perkins Center for the Arts. You can watch the live webcast at 8:00pm on arts.gov.

These videos are so well produced.  What a great way to pay tribute to our nation’s folk art and its most accomplished artisans.  I only wish we could go back and create video tributes for prior winners.
