In the forthcoming issue of NEA Arts magazine, we take a look at how the National Endowment for the Arts brings the arts to more Americans through special projects and initatives. This issue—Expanding the Reach of the Arts—will spotlight the work the agency does in the area of accessibility, how we work with rural communities through the Citizens' Institute on Rural Design, how we help the folk and traditional arts to thrive through our support for apprenticeship programs across the country, how the Shakespeare in American Communities initiative helps young people find their voices in high schools and juvenile justice facilities, and much much more. Stay tuned for the new issue, which goes live tomorrow!
