General Terms & Conditions for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to Organizations

The General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) for awards to organizations outline your responsibilities as an award recipient. The GTCs are based on federal statutes, government-wide requirements for all federal financial assistance awards, and the NEA’s own legislation and policy.

The GTCs should be reviewed by program and financial staff at your organization as appropriate. You are responsible for understanding and complying with all of the legal, financial, and administrative requirements outlined here.

General Terms & Conditions for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to Organizations

The following apply to awards issued after August 12,2020.

  1. 2 CFR 200.340 (a)(2) Рreplaced with Ҥ 200.340 Termination. (2) By the Federal awarding agency or pass-through entity, to the greatest extent authorized by law, if an award no longer effectuates the program goals or agency priorities.

  2. 2CFR200.216 and .471 regarding the prohibition on certain telecommunication and video surveillance services or equipment.
