General Terms and Conditions for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to Organizations Updated June 2018. For awards issued October 2014 through September 2020
The General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) for awards to organizations outline your responsibilities as an award recipient. The GTCs are based on federal statutes, government-wide requirements for all federal financial assistance awards, and the National Endowment for the Art’s own legislation and policy.
The GTCs should be reviewed by program and financial staff at your organization as appropriate. You are responsible for understanding and complying with all of the legal, financial, and administrative requirements outlined here.

2 CFR 200.340 (a)(2) – replaced with “§ 200.340 Termination. (2) By the Federal awarding agency or pass-through entity, to the greatest extent authorized by law, if an award no longer effectuates the program goals or agency priorities.
