Bio

Canese Jarboe is the author of SISSY (Garden-Door Press, 2024). Jarboe has received fellowships and residencies from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Tallgrass Artist Residency, Nō Studios, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Their work has appeared in POETRY, American Poetry Review, Colorado Review, and Indiana Review, to name a few. Born and raised on a farm in rural southeastern Kansas, Jarboe currently resides in Kansas City.
