Bio

Raised in Maine, Jacques J. Rancourt is the author of two books: Brocken Spectre, an Editors’ Choice for the Alice James Award, and Novena, as well as a chapbook In the Time of PrEP. His poems have been published in AGNI, Boston Review, Georgia Review, Kenyon Review, and POETRY magazine, among others. His awards include a Wallace Stegner fellowship, a Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing fellowship, and residencies from the Cité internationale des arts, Monson Arts, and Sitka Center for the Arts and Ecology. He lives and teaches in San Francisco.
