Madeleine Cravens is a writer from Brooklyn. She is the author of the poetry collection Pleasure Principle (Scribner, 2024). Cravens has been the recipient of fellowships from Stanford University, Columbia University, MacDowell, and the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. Her poems can be found in The New Yorker, The Nation, Kenyon Review, Best New Poets, and elsewhere. She was the winner of the 2024 Narrative Prize. She currently lives in Oakland.
