Bio
Zach Savich is the author of seven full-length collections of poetry, including Momently (Black Ocean, 2024), and several chapbooks, limited-edition volumes, collaborative works, and books of prose. His newest book is the hybrid critical-memoir-for-performance A Field of Telephones (53rd State Press, 2025). His work has appeared in journals and anthologies including American Poetry Review, Best New Poets, Boston Review, Chicago Review, and Georgia Review. Originally from Michigan, he grew up in Washington state and earned a BA in English from the University of Washington and MFAs in Creative Writing from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and the MFA Program for Poets and Writers at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.He teaches at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
