Information from the 1982 Economic Census is analyzed in terms of numbers of retail art dealers in the 50 states and the District of Columbia and in the 19 largest metropolitan areas. The information presented includes numbers of retail art dealers in each political subdivision and their sales in terms of art, artist materials and supplies, and other merchandise.  P
