The National Council on the Arts advises the NEA chair on agency policies and programs, and reviews and makes recommendations to the chair on applications for grants, funding guidelines, and leadership initiatives. This meeting will also include updates from Chair Jackson, and presentations on new arts and cultural economic data, and NEA initiatives Poetry Out Loud® and Creative Forces®: NEA Military Healing Arts Network.
